COVID-19 – Shelter-In-Place Order Restrictions, Requirements, and Updates
The Monterey County Shelter-In-Place order has been updated on a monthly basis. New updates are usually published at the end of one month or the beginning of the next month.

June 12, 2020 – It is our understanding that short-term stays are permissible as of June 12th. Guests will nonetheless be required to maintain social distancing and our COVID-19 cleaning and safety policies will remain in effect. The community hot tub and pool will remain closed but outdoor clubhouse activities are available, as long as social distancing is maintained.
The beach is open! Beach access is open for active recreation with safe social distancing.

COVID-19 – Vacancy Blocks, Cleaning, Sanitizing, and House Amenities
For the safety of our guests and staff additional cleaning and sanitizing measures have been adopted.
Vacancy Blocks – 72 hour vacancy blocks are emplaced before and after every stay for the safety of our staff and our guests.
Cleaning – All linens, towels, and kitchenware are cleaned after each stay, whether guests have used a given item or not.
Sanitizing – All hard surfaces, especially those that are frequently touched (such as handles, knobs, light switches, counters, remotes…) are sanitized after each stay.
House Amenities – In order for housekeeping to be able to clean and sanitize surfaces and essential items after one stay and before the next the amount of house amenities in a house, such as linens, towels, and kitchenware has been reduced. Redundant or non-essential items will not be present.
Check-In / Check-Out – It is important for guests to not check-in early or check-out late in order for our staff to have sufficient time to properly service houses. Please do not check-in early or check out late.

A $400 security deposit (higher for some homes) and the $45 reservation fee is required at time of booking reservations. This deposit will be refunded 21 days after your departure. The deposit will be used as payment in accordance with our cancellation policies.
Reservations cancelled 15 days before arrival date will be charged a $50.00 Cancellation Fee. Cancellations providing 14 days or less notification prior to the arrival date will forfeit the entire deposit. No refunds due to late arrival, early departure or weather.

All units are NON-SMOKING. A $250.00 fee will be charged if you or your guests smoke in the unit. Eviction will follow if smoking continues.
No young adults (under 25 years of age) allowed without a parent or appointed chaperone over the age of 25 in each unit. NO PARTIES!
Vehicles must park perpendicular to the concrete curbs with corresponding number to the unit you are in or in a visitor space or the unit garage. Permits must be clearly displayed on mirror or dashboard of vehicle with the last name visible and unit the unit number. – There is NO available parking for boats, boat trailers, recreational vehicles, cargo trailers or jet skis.
Please be careful in the beautiful environment, do not walk on the sand dunes, use the boardwalks down to the beach. We are very lucky to have an endangered species use the beach in front of the dunes. Please stay out of the roped off area where the snowy plovers nest.
